Elementary band is a beginning ensemble that meets once a week before school.  Each year the day may vary according to building needs and the availability of teachers.

Students may join band on the recommendation of their private after school teachers and after passing the entrance requirements.  Go to the Lessons section for the application form if your private teacher does not have it.  The entry form should be filled out by the private teacher and submitted to the band teacher for each building.  Generally, students enter band in the winter of their 4th grade year.  Exceptions may be made for younger students who show advanced levels of development.

All Town Band is also available to any student involved with Elementary band. It includes students from across the district and meets once a month.   The band teacher for your building has this information.
